President John Mahama has revealed his undying love for Shatta Wale's smash hit single, 'Kakai'. The president, who is an avid follower of Ghana's entertainment industry, made the disclosure during his Accounting to the People tour in Tema Wednesday. He commended the dancehall act for "his creativity" and revealed that the first time he heard the song, he inquired who did the song and it was revealed to him that it was Shatta Wale. The President tried to sing a line or two of the song said, "Shatta Wale come like Kakai" much to the excitement of the teeming party supporters. Zimbabwe President, Robert Gabriel Mugabe has today broken news which came as a surprise to many Zimbabweans and the entire people of Africa, in fact the world as a whole. According to the President, The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is set to implement a new billing cycle which would address concerns of overbilling. Danger is looming in the Birim Central Municipality in the Eastern Region as the steel bridge that connects the municipality to other parts of the country is falling apart. Class FM's regional correspondent McAnthony Dagyenga reports that the bolts and nuts holding the bridge are loose. The pillars that suspend the bridge over the Birim River also appear weak with the structure very shaky rendering it dangerous for use, he said. Drivers and pedestrians still use the bridge to travel to other towns despite several warnings issued by contractors, Dagyenga reported. Last year, the Akyem Oda Concerned Citizens Association (AKOCCA) mounted pressure on the Birim Central Municipal Assembly over the matter. This compelled authorities to award the contract for the bridge's rehabilitation early this year. Contractors inspected the bridge and deployed equipment to fix it by a June 16 deadline.
